About

The National Laboratory Directors’ Council (NLDC) wanted a new website to educate the public about their missions and highlight the diverse and exciting career possibilities at our National Labs for scientists, engineers, and professionals working to solve the world’s toughest challenges.

Approach

Piper Communications’ strategy was to spotlight personal stories of the workforce behind our National Lab’s groundbreaking innovations as a way to showcase the Labs’ commitment to recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce. The Piper Communications team had to move fast. NLDC wanted the website complete in less than eight weeks and we had to collect content from all 17 National Laboratories, in addition to writing website copy and completely reimagining the design.
