Overview
Two area startup accelerator programs, the SPARK Cleantech Accelerator and Innovation Crossroads, welcomed a new cohort of companies in the fall of 2023. The programs both service early-stage, high-tech companies, and the Tennessee Advanced Energy Business Council’s Energy Network serves both programs through mentorship and program support.
Solution
In order to combine resources and deepen the relationship between the programs, the SPARK Cleantech Accelerator and Innovation Crossroads cohorts were joined for the first time in program history – and all thirteen companies were paired with mentors from TAEBC’s Energy Network. The 12-week accelerator program successfully graduated all its innovators during TAEBC’s Opportunities in Energy event, which concluded with a pitch presentation that allowed the companies to connect with advanced energy leaders across the state.
